As Spring approaches it is always good to have a bit of a clear-out. After much debate ialeUK has decided to put on a Spring sale and make avaialble back issues of conference proceedings at a knock-down price - they have been sat in storage for too long. They should be out there informing and educating people about the world of landscape ecology...We hope that members will take up this offer and spread the word! Speaking of which I revisited the top 10 landscape ecology google search and it is good to see that ialeUK is still up there at number 7 doing our bit to do preceisely that.
This edition also sees a couple of conference reports from a long way ioverseas; Beijing and Auckland. As we sit at our desks we can at least let our minds wander to such far-off exotic locations.
Finally a reminder to all that this year's conference is currently open for abstracts with the aim of 'LInking Landscapes and Society'. So make sure you don't leave it until the last minute and make sure this year's conference is as good as the last few.
