The UK Environmental Observation Framework launched its upgraded catalogue this summer, which provides easier access to over 1200 records of environmental observations, which underpin strategic planning and environmental research.
One of the exciting new features that the upgraded Catalogue offers is a mapping search tool, which maps the spatial coverage of observations in different areas. Other improvements allow users to access new information such as:
- Which activities are involved in a specific monitoring network
- Which organisation operates in a particular monitoring site
- How many sites collect data for a monitoring programme
- How many monitoring sites an organisation operates in
