The International Association of Landscape Ecology UK is inviting PhD, MRes and MSc level students to join our postgraduate workshop on Local Nature Recovery Strategies: Policy intent, identifying priority habitats, and facilitating stakeholder engagement, due to be held on the 30th June and 1st July at the University of Reading.
The workshop will involve:
- A series of talks from organisations such as Natural England, Forest Research and the University of Oxford, cvovering topics such as the intent of LNRS, sources of data, tools for identifying priority habitats, and facilitating stakeholder engagement.
- A stakeholder engagement activity session with a masterclass on qualitative research methods
- A panel discussion on "Making the most of LNRS"
- A tour of two local sites to see habitat restoration on the ground.
The workshop is free for ialeUK members (membership fee for students is £15 a year) with meals provided.
