The ialeUK 2014 conference on urban landscape ecology was held in early September and was a great success. Amongst this excitement the autumn edition of the ialeUK newsletter includes updates on other recent conference events, as well as new research on the aesthetic value of landscapes, and the launch of useful tools to enhance researching and working in landscape ecology.
