'Myview' - an online tool launched by the Woodland Trust gives local people the chance not just to tell their politicians what they would like to see but to show them. The gizmo (as the Trust call it) allows users to upload a photograph of their street or other local area and then to add trees to this image. This is then sent to the councillor for the area with an explanation of why this vision is important to its creator. The hope is that these visual representations of change will add to the Trust's More Trees, More Good campaign to at least double the number of trees in the UK.
