The symposium will bring together a number of people who worked with Oliver, and/or who admired his work and achievements. There is a rich programme of activities over two days including talks, discussions and social activities. Delegates will have the opportunity for a guided visit to Hayley Wood, where Oliver carried out meticulous research over the course of several decades. Corpus Christi College is generously hosting the symposium and there will be opportunities to explore the history and architecture of the college.
Oliver was a great source of inspiration for landscape ecologists around the world. The symposium provides a fitting tribute to a great man and illustrates the enduring legacy of his work.
